Chanchamayo to Pozuzo

This trail will lead us to the Austrian and German colons lands that since 1859 arrived to this far and wild jungle lands for founding Pozuzo village. Then Croatian, Italian and some Chinese colons add their braveness and hope creating the younger villages of Oxapampa, La Merced, San Ramón and Villa Rica, the good living mood with other habitants from asháninka and yánesha tribes has turned this region in an fantastic place to meet the adventure, nature and cuisine and very close from Lima, the capital of the country.

LIMA/TARMA/SAN RAMON Departure from Lima at 06h00. Arrival to Tarma village (9.200ft) at noon to start the soft downhill on bikes by road to San Ramon village (2.100ft). Lodging. /L

SAN RAMON/OXAPAMPA/POZUZO Transfer at 06h00 to Oxapampa to start the bike ride by dirt road to Pozuzo, a town formerly founded by Austrian and German colons. Lodging.

POZUZO/OXAPAMPA At 07h00 begin of the ride by the Pozuzo campaign, passing by singletracks in the highand mountains and crossing rivers by hanging bridges. Lunch and transfer to Oxapampa. Lodging.

OXAPAMPA/VILLA RICA Departure at 09h00 biking from Oxapampa to Villa Rica well known by their coffee plantations and products. Arrival at noon. After lunch a ride by surroundings. Lodging. /B/L

VILLA RICA/SAN RAMON/LIMA Departure at 08h00 to San rAmon, after lunching we coninue the transfer to Lima, arriving at night.
