Cusco Sacred River
Vilcanota river, known also as Urubamba, brings his water from south, passes by Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu in his way to the Amazon Jungle. In this tour we will ride the Andes, close to he river, and depending the level and kind of trail we will pass by Inca sites and Andean communities as Maras, Moray, Pisac, Huchuy Qosqo, Andahuaylillas, Machu Pitumarca, Raqchi, lagoons as Paru Paru or 4 lagoons, these ones the lands were battles of Inca Tupac Amaru II lead against the Spanish Crown in 1776, 40 years before the beginning of the independence campaigns.
Important: For this trail is absolutely necessary acclimatizing at least 2 days.

Itinerary 1 Basic/Intermediate Level
Day 1 CUSCO/MARAS/URUBAMBA/ SACRED VALLEY The adventure starts after a transfer from Cusco nearby Chinchero (11.400ft) riding by a dirt road that takes us first to Huaypo Lagoon, having to climb a bit to get Moray ruins continuing downhilling to Maras village and the Salt Mines, arriving at the end to Urubamba and Sacred Valley. Transfer to hotel (8.400ft).
Day 2 SACRED VALLEY/ANDAHUAYLILLAS Different trails to choose depending the skills and preparation. After the activities, transfer to Andahuaylillas, diner and lodging. Examples:
Ride along the Sacred Valley between Urubamba and Pisac o or an easy downhill ride from Paru Paru Lagoon to Pisac village.
Downhill rides in Lares and Andahuaylillas.
Day 3 ANDAHUAYLILLAS/4 LAGOONS/RAQCHI At 07h00 transfer to Tungasuca from where we begin the ride of lagoons: Pomacanchis, Acopía and Asnacocha closing at the main road to Cusco getting transferred to Raqchi (10.500 ft) Community. Rural Lodging with typical diner, music, and dances.
Day 4 RAQCHI/PITUMARCA/CUSCO At 07h00 visit to the archaeological complex of the Temple of Wiraqocha. Departure at 09h00 towards Pitumarca, village from where we start climbing by dirt road to the detour that takes us back by the other side of the valley by a path that finishes at Machu Pitumarca ruins. Transfer to Cusco.
Itinerary 2 Intermediate/Experts Level

Day 2 ANDAHUAYLILLAS 2 DOWNHILLS Transfer at 08h00 to Andahuaylillas higlands to do a couple of downhill rides. Diner and lodging.
Day 3 ANDAHUAYLILLAS/SACRED VALLEY Transfer to Huchuy Qosqo. Technical downhill to Lamay village. Diner and lodging. Option of an easier downhill or 4 Lagunas cycletour ride.
Day 4 SACRED VALLEY/LARES/CUSCO Transfer to Lares pass to start the downhill ride to Machacancha baths and Calca village by singletracks. After some snacks in the afternoon we continue getting Cusco at the end of the day by Yuncaypata singletracks.
