The Andean Challenge Conchucos, White Mountain Range One of the most beautiful Andean mountain bike tour of Peru. The tour is a loop starting from Huaylas to  Conchucos Valleys passing by amazing villages and breathless landscapes surrounding the snowy summits of the White Mountain Tropical Range. After the visit of the first Andean civilization in Chavin we will close the bike tour attacking the highest and extreme high pass in the Andes: The Olympic Point pass with its 14.700 ft and from where we could appreciate the highest summit of Peru and the second in South America: Huascarán.

Day 1 HUARAZ Arrival. Hotel.

Day 2 HUARAZ Ride for acclimatizing at Huaraz surroundings. Transfer to Willcashuain and downhill by paths arriving to lodging in Huaraz.

Day 3 HUARAZ/CHAVIN Road day. Begin of the trail to Conchucos, starting Cahuish tunnel (13.500 ft). then downhilling to Chavin (9.600 ft). Visit to the archaeological complex. Lodging.

Day 4  CHAVIN/HUANTAR/HUARI Tour by the valley highlands with the best views of Conchucos. Lodging.

Day 5 HUARI/CHACAS Transfer to the high pass above 12.000ft and begin of the ride down to San Luis and climb to Chacas. Lunch. Lodging.

Day 6 CHACAS/CARHUAZ/HUARAZ Climb to Olympic Point High pass at 14.700ft and begin of downhill to Huaylas Valley to Carhuaz village. Transfer to Huaraz. Hotel.

Day 7  HUARAZ Departure.
